Paris Art Nouveau: Its Chicago Origins. 

The Fine Arts Society of Peoria presents a lecture by art historian Dr. Rolf Achilles at the Peoria Riverfront Museum, 222 SW Washington St. in downtown Peoria. Dr. Achilles will take us on a journey of Art Nouveau around the world, starting with its roots in Chicago and mapping its development through Belgium, Paris, Prague, Riga, Budapest, Buenos Aires, Barcelona, and Madrid. Social time at 9:30 a.m.; lecture begins at 10:00 a.m. Admission: $12 for adults; $5 for students.
